I'm finally getting a bit more serious in trying to teach myself Ukrainian.
For about half a second I thought about getting a used Rosetta Stone Russian cd, but then realized that'd be silly. I actually contacted Rosetta Stone to ask them if they planned on doing a Uky one. I guess Russian & Polish are supposed to be close enough for me to want to use as a substitute.
Not exactly, jerks! I don't think Russian even use Ґ (its the noise 'g' makes in 'goat').
I tried to teach Ben a little bit. He only walked away with the word Жаба (frog) which I think he remembered/knew before walking into this.
He also said that this letter Ю is what they use to represent a toilet on blueprints. Hmm. Oh wait he learned how to say shower in Ukrainian.
Душ (i think is how its spelled) its pronounced exactly like "douche", so I bet now anyone reading this has learned the Ukrainian word for shower.

My mom and I baked about 5 apple pies the other day. I took one home, OMG DEEE LISHHHHHHHH US.
My diet lately has consisted of almost nothing but water and naproxin (and apple pie every once in a while).
EVERYTHING FUCKING HURTS!
I need to figure out how to get stronger pain meds in my diet.
