notice: the cons have more to do with my halls than with the university itself. i reckon that at every university you look at you will find various pro's and con's. to me, i'm not so bothered about my course, the food or the nightlife, what i look for in a uni experience is friendly people and a nice surrounding- which is generally guarateed at most universities.
as far as catered/non-catered goes, the food isn't that bad, and i find it nicer being in a coridoor of people so that essentially you can choose who you become friends with. when you're in a flat things can get a bit cliquey and weird. saying this, you might just want to look at how close to campus halls are, cause trekking up that friggin' hill everyday makes me want to die.
