* * So much to do, so little time. That's what I get for procrastination. My senior design project final report was technically due 04/25. However, the professor said he needs it no later than 04/27. So, that means I haven't turned it in yet. It is done (and has been for a few hours) except for the abstract... which I really should get around to writing. Then, just a presentation and a webpage to make and I am done!
* * I also have a Hindi final tomorrow. Hindi tests are notoriously easy... but, there are a ridiculous amount of vocab words to study for it and I started... this evening. Procrastination is killer. But I think I will do well (let's not jinx it though).
* * I saw Paul Rusesabagina speak at the final assembly series lecture of my college career. It was pretty amazing. I want to read his autobiography although I probably shouldn't considering how much I cried during Hotel Rwanda.
* * I'm not ready to leave WashU. I will miss so many people! I have been having the greatest conversations EVER with Dr. Wrenn this semester. I'll miss that. It's never the same when you don't live in the same city. No matter how much you email, its never like popping in to say hi. Why are so many people staying in St. Louis? Three of my fellow SSMs will be at MIT this summer, so maybe I will get to spend some time with them. They are all coming back to WU to finish their graduate degrees though.
* * On the topic of those three... the new Dean of the Engineering School is changing everything. I went to hear her speak about her vision for the school. Its a solid vision, but it is very different from what all of the current students know/want/came to WU for. And, a lot of my favorite professors don't fit into the Dean's vision -- so they're all gone... along with the classes they teach. So that masters program my fellow SSMs are in pretty much doesn't exist anymore. The next few years at WashU will be interesting.
* * I'm tired. And I'm procrastinating. Back to Hindi vocab. Good luck on finals everyone.
