* * I had the rare privilege to introduce Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar in Hindi (with another Hindi student, Steven) at WashU today. Then, during her talk, Shabana Azmi joked that she feared losing her job because Steven and I were so good we would replace her! Mwahaha!! Awesome!
* * I then proceeded to get a wonderful picture with them and they both signed my speech... and Shabana Azmi shook my hand! I am so star struck at the moment.
* * Then we all (planners, Hindi students, famous people, and people that paid to see the famous people) had dinner at India Palace. 'Twas an awesome night. I will try to post that picture as soon as I get my hands on a copy (there were about a million people taking pictures tonight!).
* * So much fun.
