Although I was not specifically named as the one who does not keep up as much anymore, I know Douglass was thinking of me.
I really do think about updating every so often; I just don't. My attention can be so scattered sometimes.
I am in a really weird place right now, mentally, not physically. I am in my room, probably one of the last times I will be in this room while it all put together. This is my favorite bedroom. I really hate that I will not be returning to this one in the fall.
Mentally I have been a bit crazy lately. I've wanted to be alone a lot lately, and I have been. I've read a lot. I've watched t.v. shows on dvd. I've even resorted to playing a Mario game on my Gamecube the other day. This is really a bad thing, just an observation I find a bit odd since in about two weeks, I won't have any friends near me, and all of my time will be spent alone.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I haven't had any fun or haven't spent any time with friends. I have! Last week I hung out downtown for Weinstock's going away. When I say hung out, I mean I fell through an open window at a bar and flopped onto the floor. Everyone thought it was funny. I hope. The next day I had a small BBQ and we played ladder golf. The day after that was a party for Merissa's roommate who was both graduating and having a birthday. I took the most pictures ever with my wonderful new camera: 416. Saturday night Danielle and I had some people over, and we went to Lil Chef, where this crazy guy she works with snorted a pack of sweet 'n low and did a shot of ketchup. It was highly amusing. Sunday was Chamanda and Stacie's graduation BBQ celebration, and that night Mark came over to watch a movie.
So you see? I have had lots of fun in the past week, it's just the past two days have been kinda boring.
I am getting a little nervous about driving to Alabama. I know I will be ok, it's just until I am there and everything is entirely unpacked, I know my way around town, I know the system at work, until then, I will be slightly crazy.
Douglass just called me, and she is almost here, so I guess this is a good enough update for now...I will try to be better about this when I get to Alabama, but I'm not really sure how many people read this anyway...
me,
friends
