This past week has been one of the best of my life. It all began with my trip to b-town, which I have already documented, and then the fun really began with Danielle's visit. Star Wars at midnight on Thursday was AWESOME. The opening words made me tear a little because I was just so excited!
Thursday at work was fun. I don't even remember what we did, but I know I love work everyday now. Thursday night was SOOO fun. Antone and Wonetha decided we all should hang out at Wonetha's. We had SOOO much fun, it was ridiculous. Here's the pics from that:

party time at wonetha's Friday Danielle came to work with me, but she stayed in the cafeteria basically all day because I was very busy. Ashley and I took Danielle over to the Ren Cen for a late lunch. More pics:

I love downtown Detroit. While there are many ugly things about the city, it is also very beautiful. Friday night Antone, Wonetha, Ashley, Danielle, and I went to Honest John's. Our waitress sucked. It was pretty funny, though, because a 48-year-old black man named Tony hit on me. He wanted to take me to lunch. I tried very hard not to laugh, but did anyway. Tony gave Wonetha and I $2 for the jukebox, so at least I got something out of it. A guy named Ted met us at the bar. Ashley and him have been phone tag buddies for a YEAR, and they finally met on Friday. More on Ted later. Danielle and I got home really late Friday night. we stopped at meijer and got a bunch of ice cream. we hardly ate any of it, and now she's gone and i don't want to eat all myself, COME BACK TO EAT YOUR ICE CREAM DANIELLE!!!
Saturday things really got interesting. Danielle and I woke up around 10, and were out of the house by noon to go see my dad. His and my grandpa's b-day were last Tuesday, the 17th (I need this info for the future). We all went out to lunch at Applebee's and I had an awesome chicken terriaki wrap. YUMMY. After visiting at dad's for a while (

I got 23 new shirts, some coffee mugs, picture holders, and a giant awesome painting for $60. Each shirt was 40 cents to $3. Danielle got an awesome vintage Star Wars shirt for $1.20 (well, she got other stuff, too, but that's the coolest thing).
After our shopping experience, Danielle and I went to Ashley's fall home on the U of M campus for her roommate's b-day party. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but we had an AWESOME TIME (
click here for proof). I met SO MANY people that I probably will never see again, and I took a lot of pics of those people that i don't know. A lot of those pics are currently named "I don't know this person," but Ashley is going to help me out with that.
Amoung the highlights were Ted's almost fight with some guy who called a girl fat, Ashley and Ted making out a lot (it was so cute, though now Ted is becoming slightly annoying because he calls too much), meeting Chris and Ryan who drew pretty pictures on our hands, and meeting Hot Luke and Hot Ben. I'm sure there were more cute guys there that I don't remember, but Hot Luke and Hot Ben liked me taking their picture, which worked out well. Danielle and I stayed the night there in Ashley's living room, which was hilarious, because I was so drunk and tired, I really didn't know what was going on, and I ended up falling asleep cuddled up with some guy. I think he was licking my face, but I don't really remember. In the morning, he was gone, and Ashley and Danielle were making fun of me (Ashley, Ted, Danielle, me and that guy all slept in the same room), because they heard the licking and thought I made out with him. Hm, strange it was ASHLEY who ended up with the hickey.
Anyway, it was all great fun. Totally worth being completely exhausted at work yesterday. Both Ashley and I were so out of it. We kept talking to each other and not making any sense. It's a good thing we didn't really have to talk to anyone else! I am starting to get very very sad at the prospect of not being here anymore. I have made such good friends, and it almost sucks because I probably won't see them much after I leave Detroit. I told them we can still hang out til the end of the summer, but it won't be the same...
