Sorry, I'm a total nitpicker ORZyhibikiMarch 14 2009, 17:36:54 UTC
Oooh, glad to see that Hiroki isn't being a total jerk. :) I'm interested to see where this is going.
"Hiro-san, if you're worried that because he's here we won't be able to have s-"
"Shut up! It's not what I'm worried about! I just don't like strangers in my house."
I liked that exchange. XD Oh Nowaki and his one-track mind.
One question though... why does it say that Misaki never took a course with Kamijou? In act 3, Sumi says that he "considered calling [Misaki's] name during attendance, but the professor for literature class is Kamijou, so [he] decided against it."
I guess it's more clearly spelled out in one of the doujinshi, where Misaki takes a hit to the forehead from Hiroki's blackboard eraser. XD The drama CD included with the Minimum manga also makes mention of Misaki being in Kamijou's class... I think it was just the one class though.

Oh, nitpicking is fine. See, those are actually really big mistakes I fail to notice (I really had no idea about Nokia).
Regarding the thing with Kamijou: I did not read the entire manga, but in the Anime Misaki says that "there's a professor in his uni the throws chalks at people". I figured it doesn't necessarily mean that he takes his course... He might remember the name later in the story, but... (Besides, why would an Economics student take a Literature course on his first year? The schedule's supposed to be horrible, and freshmen usually don't have much choice in courses :P)

No, I completely agree that it's absolutely pointless for Misaki to be in the class, but it's canon that he was. XD If it had been only in the doujinshi, you'd probably be able to disregard it, but it's mentioned in the manga as well, so...
I think it's completely plausible for Hiroki to have forgotten Misaki, given how he has a bajillion students and Misaki probably avoided him like the plague outside of class. But "THE DEVIL KAMIJOU" seems to leave an impression on the students.

Yeah, I know. I wanted him to remember the name sometime later, but now that I read the act you talked about... it is a bit of a problem. Myabe I really should revise it a little bit...
Re: Sorry, I'm a total nitpicker ORZyhibikiMarch 14 2009, 19:35:20 UTC
Well, you could have Misaki pretend not to know Hiroki? To avoid the demon's wrath? That's actually where I thought you were going at first, because his "No... I've been too busy...." line sounded like he was lying to me.
Oh, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Nokia. I just found it unlikely for both of them to have a Nokia, when it's got such a limited market penetration in Japan. I'm going to assume that this fic is set BEFORE the economic crisis (if we assume that Junjou is set around 2002-03 ish? When did it first get started?) so Nokias would still be around (they pulled out of Japan in November of last year, from the looks of it), it's just unlikely for both Hiroki and Misaki to have one. :3
Wow, what a confusion over such a simple thing as the "reply" button. :P I'm sorry, I meant to comment directly to Fletset, and instead accidentally sent the response to you! Sorry, it must have been weird, having a total stranger attacking you because of Nokia... A joke loses its meaning once explained, but whatever, I'm defying the rule: the "meaning" behind my oh-so-clever comment was just to "congratulate" Flets for using Nokia, as it is a Finnish company, and... well, you probably guessed it, I'm from Finland. Har har. Very clever and original, and totally misplaced. My bad. ^^;
Oh, lol. XD No, you hadn't replied to me, I just saw it and thought it was kind of a jab at how Nokia should be kept or something. I didn't feel attacked or anything. :3 So no worries. I was just being stupid.

And this is the nitpicker in me, but I think Misaki is more likely to have a Japanese brand of phone. Nokia wasn't doing very well in Japan, and they've since pulled out of the market ( ... )
