Thus my break has ended. I shall be returning to my dorm in a few hours (most likely: two). School starts bright and early at 8:40am and my only class (thank God) goes until 10:40 to which we get a break until 11:30 (the perfect time to miss both breakfast and lunch). From there we go back to class from 11:30 until 1:00pm. It is (basically) a 3 1/2 hour class. My class for j-term this year? History and Faith of Biblical Communities. Most people take their bible classes during j-term considering their knack for taking the most study time. I will continue this tradition for as long as I must take j-term and for as long as I have Bible classes. Seeing as I'm not a religion major I will only need to take one more (to my knowledge). I'm leaning towards minoring in creative writing or something regarding the written word (possibly an English literature minor).
As I'm thinking about this, I will go ahead and tell you my dream after I graduate from MVNU. (Basically every time I think of school I think of graduating from school and then I think of this dream of mine. Somewhere down the line I feel like that is pathetic.) My dream (which I have told to my mother) is to move to South Korea at some juncture after graduating. That is why I've been trying to learn how to speak Korean. Even just these little words are a step to my goal/dream. I'm still trying to figure out what job I would try to find there. As my major revolves around art I feel maybe I could get a job at a entertainment industry in helping with art/design. (Or something.) This dream of mine is not a shock to most of you considering what my interests are, however it felt right saying it now.
Moving back to my original topic, I will no longer be at home as I will be at school. Because of this I might have less time to write until summer time. This being because I am permitted a week break between j-term and Spring term and then it is little to no breaks until the end of that semester. I should have some free-time to do things I'd like to do considering my schedule is not hectic it is just I have a lot of studying/homework that will need to be done. I'll try to watch some Korean variety shows when I can, and read some books during my free-time as well. My roommate will most likely spend most of her time with her boyfriend so I might get to have the room to myself most of the time. We'll see. I'm excited for Spring term simply because the earliest class I have isn't even a class but is chapel which doesn't start until 10:20 am.
Well, dinner is mostly done so I'm going to get off to get something to eat and pack my stuff in the car to go back in an hour or two (my mom will be taking me).
