useful things are wonderful to receive.

The entry I promised is finally here.

I did not state it here but I went to my aunt's house for Christmas and Christmas Eve to celebrate. For Christmas Eve we all went to watch the Bengal's play in Cincinnati (my aunt lives close to the city) against the Cardinals. They won which is wonderful (especially for our health considering my two aunts, and my mother are Bengal's fans). I like football but I do not have a favorite team. I'm the type of person who will cheer for whoever, I just like watching the sport.

For Christmas we opened gifts (as to be expected) and for the rest of Christmas I just laid around and did nothing. I took a long nap until dinner. Dinner was wonderful and we had a good time. We were going to leave Christmas day to go home (an hour and half away) but my mother decided we should just stay the night again and leave Monday. It was wonderful to see my aunt's, uncle's, and cousin again as I have not seen one of my aunt's and uncles (and my cousin) in over two years. This was due to mainly work originally and now it is because of school. Even when I went to community college I stayed behind so I could do schoolwork and work. However it is nice that I will be able to see them every Christmas now, and maybe in the summer if they venture over here for birthdays (aka mine, hahah).

As for presents: I was satisfied with the little I got. Nowadays it isn't about quantity as it is quality. When you are a kid you want tons and tons of presents, where as when you grow up you'd rather have one or two good presents rather than a bunch of presents.

From my mother, father, and brother I received what I had asked for which was MBLAQ's 3rd Mini Album - Mona Lisa. It is amazingggggg. ;a; It was my favorite present I received this year. I found out that MBLAQ is planning on releasing another album next year, so hopefully during my birthday I get enough money to buy it, or maybe I can get that for my birthday...? This is the first MBLAQ album I own, and it is also the first Korean album I own. All the other's I have are Japanese when I was into Japanese music a lot. (I'm not so much anymore, but I still like Japanese music. I blame my love of Japanese music mainly on animes and games.)

This year I also received the following: $30, two sketchbooks, 3 books (The Picture of Dorian Grey, The Iliad, and Interview With the Vampire), one miniature leather journal (with rough blank paper so I can draw in it too), a set of thin canvas' so I can draw my aunt a dragon for next year's Christmas present from me, two scarves, some lotion, and lots of candy and treats from my stocking. Oh and socks because I needed new socks (lol and I was happy I got them). I actually got a lot of stuff, but most of it is stuff I'll use (or enjoy. Mmmm candy).

Most of the stuff I got I knew I was getting because I picked it out, but it still was a wonderful thing to open on Christmas morning (and the rest of it today at my grandparents house).

Next week we are going to the bookstore to look at books. Tomorrow my mother promised to take me to Kroger's so I can get some Vitamin Water (and I promised my brother I'd get him one). I love Vitamin Water so much...it is so good. I think I like it more than pop.

Oh, yesterday I got my hair done finally. It has been an entire year since I last got it cut and my hair needed it badly. I have been growing my hair out so I just got it layered and trimmed. I'm so happy, and my hair is doing a jig I just know it. Now when I brush my hair I sigh in delight rather than want to scream. I have curly hair so it is aggravating having to brush out a tangle after just brushing my hair an hour ago. Curly hair tangles easy already, and the added split ends made it a nightmare. Plus it just didn't look as good because I had a lot of split ends. Now it is bouncy and happy so I am happy. Hopefully I'll get it cut during the summer time again so I can keep it relatively healthy.

I'll try and write a new entry tomorrow when I find some time.
