If I maintain this series of Wednesday night lyrics as I want to, you'll
probably come to see some familiar names. If they aren't familiar to you
now, they will be as I reference their works from time to time. One such
group is the band Cowboy Mouth and one such writer is The Mouth's lead singer
and drummer, Fred LeBlanc. This is another one of those songs that I fell
in love with the very first time I heard it... Although, in this case, for
no apparent reason. As times has gone on, I see it's application in my life.

I should have known there'd be danger
When I saw your face in the crowd
Now I'm trying to work past my anger
I should know better by now
I used to believe in the love songs
That Took me so long to write down
Every word you say takes my breath away
But I should know better by now
I've known your sorrow
But everybody's tasted pain
I've known your sorrow
Since God makes the rain
I see tomorrow
And everybody tries again
I see tomorrow when God makes the rain
When God makes the rain.
I used to believe in the spirits
That turned all the words into sound
But I was your walk on the wild side
I should know better by now
If you see me looking for something
or someone that will never be found
When I look your way
Turn your eyes astray
'Cause I should know better by now
I've known your sorrow
But everybody's tasted pain
I've known your sorrow
Since God makes the rain
I see tomorrow
And everybody tries again
I see tomorrow when God makes the rain
I used to hold my fury
And keep it bottled tight
And wrestle with the consequences
Each and every night
But if Iput my faith in someone who
Was only trying to bring me down
I wouldn't stand where I am standing now
I should have known there'd be danger
When i saw your face in the crowd
Every word you say takes my breath away
But I should know better by now
I've known your sorrow
But everybody's tasted pain
I've known your sorrow
Since God makes the rain
I see tomorrow
And everybody tries again
I see tomorrow when God makes the rain
I've known your sorrow
When everybody turned away
I'll be tomorrow
When God makes the rain
When God makes the rain
When God makes the rain...
