One of the strange things about Nintendo's DSi system is it is the first Nintendo hand held with a region lockout. Theoretically this is because of the system's wireless functionality, and I guess it's the same rational as to why you can't copy your save data for Brawl. It's still very annoying, but there was nothing about it to bother me personally until now.
This is because Capcom is teaming up with Nintendo to bring out a special edition DSi to commemorate the release of of the latest Ace Attorney game,
Gyakuten Kenji.

There's no word on whether the system will be released outside of Japan, which isn't too surprising given the game itself doesn't have an Western release date yet. However I will state for the record that if this system comes out in America, then I will buy it.
