Weeeeeeeeee My post is up
Figures that a full week would come along before I had the time to post my Chikara report. But, here it is. I'll break it down into 2 parts; my match by match analysis and some pictures and my general reports Then my fan-girl report with my Pictures With. That way it will be easier. I dunno if I should cross post this to KAF or wrestle-geek or what not. Maybe I dunno. But here is goes:
Chikarasaurus Rex : King of Show
Match 1: Grudge Match #1: BDK (Donst/Sanchez /Dorado/Tursas) vs. Frightmare & The Colony
The card opened up with this 8 man tag. I personally thought it was a great opening match. Seriously every time I see pinkie he just impresses me more and more. It was fasted -paced and energetic. At the end of the match things got a little interesting. At the ramp Vokoder appeared, while the lights flickered and the video screened went all static. Pinkie of course went insane, and if you have been keeping up with his promos you would understand why. Funny thing was the rest of BDK didn’t noticed so they all though he was just going cootie. Very interesting to see where that is going. I liked the overall match and thought this was the best opening match this year.
Match 2: Chikara vs. DG #1: Shingo Takagi vs. Jimmy “Equinox” Olsen
I'm just going to make this simple. This was a Hard hitting match. No frills no thrills just “ I hit you and you hit me back” type of match. It was a bit sloppy but then again it's Shingo so I can forgive. Nice and short which I liked.
Eddie Kingston came to the ring to induct Tommy Dreamer into the Arena Hall of Fame. It was cute and short and Everyone gave Dreamer a Standing O. Dreamer was adorable.
Match 3:Dream Women’s Tag: Sara Del Ray & Daizee Haze vs. vs. Amazing Kong & Raisha Saeed
OMG! This was the match that made me take my car and attend this show and it didn’t disappoint. This match is the sole reason why I took my car and drove to Philly. I freaking loved it. The ending will knock your socks off I tell you that. I kind of want Kong and Saeed to come back. Pretty please chikara puppy eyes
Chikara vs. DG #2: CIMA, Masaaki Mochizuki & Super Shenlong vs. F.I.S.T.
This match was a little disappointing. I wanted more out of it . But not to say that it was bad just... it was lacking something. But besides that Cima and company really was awesome. Not much to say really.
AKUMA IS OUT OF F.I.S.T. This makes me a sad kitty. But if he's going to help UMB with the fight against the BDK I'm all for it. Plus I want to see him kick F.I.S.T. 's head in.
~~INTERMISSION~~
UMB had 2 cloaked guys with him in the merch table, and apparently he was doing commentary all night. And he smells good... I mean what *whistles*.
Manami toyota is coming to the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH I can't even give a response to that other than EEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Grudge Match #2: Drakes on a Plane vs. The Unstable
This match was either going to be really good or really bad. Turns out it was pretty decent. Lots of good spots and Stigma didn’t sucks so much YAY? Again it was an alright match, was definitely entertaining. I really wished Drake would wrestle more in chikara. I loved him in CZW and I loved him Here.

Grudge Match #3: Claudio Castagnoli & Ares vs. Eddie Kingston & Tommy Dreamer
This was an okay match. Wasn’t really expecting anything really spectacular. Esp since dreamer got hurt I knew they would be taking it easy. But it furthered the storyline. And Anything Kingston can't be that bad right? It did its Job.
Chikara vs. DG #3: Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw & Hallowicked vs. WORLD-1
Match of the night. That all I can say really. I effing loved it. Fast, and high impact. I'm really starting to like Hallowicked. And of course Quack is the man. I cant really say anything else
Overall Impressions:
It was a awesome show. The matches were entertaining. And I just loved it. I need to go to a dragon gate USA show sometime soon. I really loved the arena and Chikara again put on a awesometastic show.
