Erm, I kind of don't know what to do with this episode. It gave me YAY and it gave me O.o
YAY pool-hustling and dislocated!shoulder-popping! YAY Big Bad Demon beating Dean bloody and reminding him of their good times together in Hell! YAY Uriel gets more fabulous every time I see him and I'm dangerously close to breaking out the seriously-dysfunctional-and-wrong Uriel/Dean! YAY gorgeous!kickass!Genevieve! YAY male Crossroads Demon! YAY Anna who is kind of adorable and awesome! YAY for dealing (kind of) with the inherent rape issues regarding Sam/Ruby! YAY for Sam/Ruby with a heavy dose of acknowledged Dean!Ruby!
O.o for... oh dear, I'm sorry, but I had to hide from the sex scene mostly. I just think Jared is a little too pumped lately. It was YAY at times and then it was 'Oh God, are those rope-like sinews or a skin of stringy cheese?' Clearly my heterosexuality is a bit broken and I'm very sorry I can't squee with you all on this point. But I am very glad you're all happy with it. Jared is very hot on the whole but I could have done without the nudity. Sorry.
Also O.o for Ruby's motivations. Is her motivation purely that she's in love with Sam? Because yes, Sam is awesome but... she's a demon and I'd like to see a bit more viciousness from her. Yes, she remembers what being a human is like but I'd like to see her act as something a little inhuman. idk.
Really, I felt like this episode gave me things I really wanted and then gave me things I really didn't. Still, roll on next week. :)
