You know what I adore? When you write about the first time Jared sees Jensen. I love your description, that surprised, punched-in-the-gut-by-all-that-pretty attraction, it's so thrilling to get to see that from a fresh perspective, all new and shiny and full of promise.

Also, OMG OMG, spy!Jared and handler!Jensen? Oh, you do spoil us, don't you? EEE, I'm so excited for this fic, this was such a wonderful opening and I'm really looking forward to where you're going to take it.

It's also really interesting to see the characterization here--Jared is still Jared, but also a spy, and it's so intriguing to see his changed thought process--like when he entered Jensen's building and was thinking about the (lack of) security there and if that was making a statement, and how he thought Jensen's apartment wasn't his real home and his name was an alias. I think his job has made him more jaded than he realizes.

And Sasquatch and Zoolander as code names? OMGYES, THAT IS HILARIOUS AND I LOVE IT.

You have such wonderfully innovative ideas, and you write them so beautifully and engagingly that it's always a treat to read them. You're one of those authors that, if I see you've posted something new, I'll drop whatever I'm doing and be, like, "OMGYAY, NEW FLESH FIC!" and then run off and read it and then roll around a little bit squeeing and capslock at you; I'm afraid that's just your burden, BB! =o)

Last year I expressed my SUPREME DESIRE for someone to write a J2 AU based on Spy Game, with Jared as a young spy and Jensen as his weathered handler. Even though I generally don't read much J2, especially J2 AUs.
