Oh, Jesus, I think you broke my heart. God. And y'know, in spite of the Wincest-colored glasses I wear faithfully, I could see this. I can see this--because it's so, SO obvious that all Dean wants is John's approval. Well, no, he wants Sam's love and approval too, but. Yeah.

And it's also very obvious that Bobby cares about the Winchesters--and he really seems to have a soft spot for Dean, even beyond that. I think of that every time I watch AHBL2. He genuinely cares and worries.

Okay, when I first saw this, I thought, "Bobby/Dean? I may have to scrub my brain after this...." but I clicked anyway, expecting a little cracky smut.

Boy, was I wrong. And boy, am I glad I clicked.

Dean with a Daddy-kink... sasjkdsaf;as;fa. And Bobby? Wins. At. Winchester-analysis.

This is so gut-wrenching and hot without being at all squicky because damn, Bobby is just so self-aware and OMG, how he understands them all and feels for them and is still human. And DEAN!!!!!111 Ye gods, how amazingly you've painted him. I love all the stuff in the first part, with our intrepid Wee!Chesters, Teen!Chesters, and Bobby's so insightful perspective on the whole thing. And his conversation with John? Jeebus, how perfect.

Wow. Just wow. Can't rave enough.

One thing I'd love is an epilogue that examines Bobby's convo with Dean in AHBLII, in light of this history.... Heh.
