Ruby. I'm sorry. I keep trying. And I love fanon!Ruby but Katie Cassidy will keep posing.

Agreed. I saw that stance for the split second it was on the screen and laughed. I don't really have any trouble with Ruby as a character (in fact, I loved a bunch of her lines in this episode), but I'm still just having a tough time with Katie's delivery of 90% of her lines. And some of the movements. It's just overly dramatic to me. Which is too bad because her character's shaping up to be pretty interesting.

Leader in the West holding Dean's contract and keeping him in Hell to turn him demon so he can have demon!Dean leading his army against Sam because how would that be for crushing Sam's morale?

You're going to write this, right? :)

Well it's because of people like you who write her so awesomely that my unease regarding Ruby has started to abate, and then Katie Cassidy goes and poses everywhere - and you're so right about her chemistry with Jensen! - and I start going all wiblly again!

Yeah, I think Elizabeth was wonderful. Can't we keep her?

I hate that he's all accepting about it. Yes, he's torn up but I don't want him accepting it.

Oh my YES! There must be RAGE against the dying of The Light. Sam Winchester is nothing if not a bull-headed, get-what-he-wants, damn the torpedoes kind of guy (he is his father's son), so I can't see him rolling over and conceding THIS point, of all things. Or... maybe it's just too overwhelming (on top of everything else). Dean has said a couple of times that he's tired. I imagine the despair that Sam feels after all this-- Jess, Dad, Madison, Dean-- at some point has to wear down even the most determined of men. But that's a temporary weakness. Sam will NOT YIELD. *stern face*

I know! Where is this all coming from, this acceptance? Sam is not an accepting type of lad! He is an angry, raging, stubborn young man and for him to be acting like Dean's already dead makes me very :(
