I was going to ask which was the harder one to choose.

I had the hardest time for ep 11. All around, Playthings is like my #2 fave episode ever, but I feel like Mystery Spot is also SO GOOD. And the trickster makes everything better. Also, the theme behind it (Sam can't save Dean from Hell) is stronger for me than Playthings (Sam can't save everyone).

Nightshifter is hands down my #1 fave episode so I didn't even consider the ramifications of passing over the other ones :-D

Mystery Spot has no competition for me. It's my absolute favourite episode, like you and Nightshifter - though, off the top of my head, I would say Nightshifter is the better written episode. Plus Henriksen, who fills my heart with glee!

Mystery Spot IS high on my list, so I won't fault you for choosing it over Nighshifter ;-)

I mean, it just, the guys. I have no words. Well, I do, and they're mostly all here. But overall, it's beautiful with the dark lighting and shadows, hysterically funny, heartwrenching (Dean defending John), suspenseful, and it gives me Ronald. Who I love! And also Hendrickson!
