Much sympathy on the cold, and I hope it clears soon.

If those are the Carole Nelson Douglas pastiches, then I think I know those ones. Entertaining if rather slushy round the edges.

They are, and they are. At least there are no explosions in them. (Warily eyes A Game of Shadows, which I thought at first was a GRRM entry.)

By all canons of logic, it should have. Clearly you have the new variant of supercold, or something.

(It does sound like the GRRM naming pattern, doesn't it?)

Hollywood goes from Adjective-Noun titles and OneWordTitle, that I can never keep straight, to A/The X of Y, that I can't keep straight either. What happened to titles like Last Year at Marienbad or The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie?

Though possibly if the films were more memorable to start with, the problem wouldn't exist.
