d-day update

So we bought both these weird little slipper things we were told she needed and a pair of white soled runners for the gym. Then it turned out she needed one or the other for the gym and different slippers altogether for class. *sigh* i think it's going to be like this for quite a while til we work everything out! She said that some kids wore thongs

yes... she was even disappointed today that she wasn't going to school! that's sure not to last though.

got a cheap little pencil case thingy with a cartridge pen in it and lots of refills. she's been practicing her pengirlship like crazy ever since :)

i think that simple slippers should be interdit and big fluffy tasmanian devil slippers should be obligitoire.

hahaha! yes, i should get a friend to bring some over next week, huh? she could make quite the splash. although it's a bit too warm at the minute for anything too furry.

i used to have these excellent tasmanian devil slippers (which actually came from USA). I wore them out. a sad day.

heh heh... we had an inky finger episode just yesterday :)

when i was at school we had to be given approval in grade 5 to graduate from pencils to a fountain pen when we were judged to have neat enough writing. years of ink disasters ensued.

she is loving it now, despite the lack of friends and language. i wonder where she gets her adventurous soul from :)

lol! people even think she looks like me... I never thought about it like that, but maybe you're right. it is good to have a mini me, even if they make it hard to get out at night :)
