(no subject)
So...it looks like I'm moving to New York. Haven't gotten the "official" offer yet...but they did tell me they are going to hire me for a show in Manhattan. They just aren't sure which show yet, and excatly when they need me. So...I am guessing I will be moving down in the beginning of January...and have started looking around for apartments.
The problem is, I don't really want to live by myself I don't think. I mean...if I can find a cute furnished studio...then I will...but honestly...I want to find a normal person who will room with me. It's harder than you think. I've asked every friend I currently have in NY if they have a room. Nope. Any acquaintance I might know who knows someone whose cousin lives in NY.Nope. So...now Im just searching online and it is such a huge pain in the ass.
SO if anyone knows ANYONE who needs a roomie in NY, or who is moving to NY in January. Please please please let me know. I don't want to end up with a scary psycho on Craigslist. And...I want to live close to midtown if possible. Haha...I can hear you all laughing now.
This apartment searching makes me discouraged. Im excited...but discouraged too. I didn't think it would be so frustrating! I really don't want to live in a dump! Boo!
I'll let you all know when I get the final word on the show I'll be on, and when Im moving.
