ok yea so rita was a dud.
my family decided to leave for waco on freakin thursday night and it took us 15 hours! normally it wouldve taken us 3. i wanted to stay home bc i knew the hurricane had shifted. but no my dad decided we had to leave. we saw people sleeping on the side of the road and a family riding in the back of someones boat all the way to oklahoma. it was CRAZY.
we had fun staying with my uncle we caught up on the family and stuff.
on the way home it took us 7 hours to get home. it seemed like 37.
if there ever really is a bad hurricane that comes over galveston well all get swept away in it bc none of us are ever gonna listen to those damn people again. if ive learned anything its that they cant really predict a hurricane. not even neil frank!
i deleted all my comments off of kevins blog bc that whole thing was making me mad. my posts didnt even make sense and i wanted to take them back so i did. i do however think there wouldve been a gas shortage even if people bought 3/4 a tank bc there were so many people under mandatory evacuation. entire counties. thats a lot of people. i didnt buy gas and now im prolly screwed. and thats ALL im gonna say on rita. comment till your hearts content im not responding.

kevin your blog talking about i told you so... hindsight's 20/20 dude. we didnt know until a few hours before it hit where the hurricane was going. its better to sit in a car for a long time then be dead.
school is canceled till monday possibly even tuesday! yay! i think it might be longer bc theyre gonna flood livingston. something about the dam was gonna break so theyre gonna open it... i dunno that seems kinda screwy. id be mad if my city was gonna flood the town on purpose.
anyways thats enough of that.
