Fahrenheit 9/11
Have just seen Michael Moore's little piece of propaganda for $14.50. I live in hope for the results of the upcoming US Presidential Election to show that John Kerry is the winner. However, I think the documentary series, "The World According to Bush," Tuesday nights 8.30pm SBS blows F9/11 out of the water. View info on that series by clicking here.
The best part of the film is in the second half when he investigates the impact that this war has had on soldiers and their families. I can only hope that those shown on camera denoucing the war as meaningless are in the majority.
Note how I called it a film, not a documentary. It irks me somewhat that the media call anything put to film that's not fictional a documentary. Moore doesn't try to be balanced and even handed in his reporting and commentary, it's more in the style of opinion piece. And he's said this much himself.
