Sarah Slean again, again, I know.
She played a wee show at the Myer Horowitz theater. I went with my brother. It was fantastic, as always. She played "Suzanne" by Leonard Cohen, and since my brother has some kind of wild man crush on Cohen he was pleased. She also played a cover of "Material Girl" which was hilarious but somehow still fantastic, I never would have thought that the song could sound beautiful.
She's my very favourite. I also realized that my re-cap of the last show when I got to meet her was moderately inaccurate. I made it sound like I had met her and been all cool or something......
