Summary: comment_fic  for owleyes_arisen  (SPN/TW): Jack Harkness is really a Winchester

After hundreds, thousands of years, the truth was out.

He wasn't immortal. All that time ago, Rose never stopped him from dying permanently, she just aided in the 'Big Picture.'

He wasn't a fixed point. Or impossible.

He was a Winchester.

"Death doesn't exactly stick to us," a handsome man in his early thirties with incredible green eyes told him with a small shrug.

"We're needed," the man's companion- his brother- added. He was also handsome, if not ridiculously tall, with shaggy brown hair and serious hazel eyes.

Jack's mind had gone from 0-60 upon meeting them...they things they could do...until the bomb was dropped.

He was a descendant of the family, and while Jack was overly confident in his sexuality and open mindedness, he might draw the line at sex with ancestors.

Timelines, and all that.

"So you're saying," Jack says. "Angels need you around to stop the world from ending. So you die, but always come back." Like him.

"Basically," the tall one, Sam, nodded, flashing Jack a sympathetic look.

"Looks like the angels didn't stop there, either," his brother, Dean, looked pissed.

"Yep," Jack says, lightly. "Looks like they're hanging onto the bloodline for the next apocalypse. The biggie. the universe . And that's where i come in."

"Sucks, man," Dean says, eloquently.

It did suck. He had a new reason for his immortality- or lack thereof. He was a pawn from the beginning. The Doctor couldn't even have known this.

But he had a purpose. More than a millennium from this tiny diner in the middle of Earth, 2009, he was going to save the universe he called home.

Because that's what Winchesters did, in the best manner Jack Harkness- Jack Winchester knew.

All guns blazing, dramatic, and looking damn good.
