I found it hard in the original game to get up to the top level. I even found it REALLY hard to get enought money to buy a horse.

I stopped playing the game due to too much emphasis on raid content,PVP and money and uber item grinding. I played the game for fun, but it became hard when all missions ended in an elite instance.

Yeah, prices can be outrageous in the auction house unless you're prepared to wait for a rare bargain. My warrior character is nearly level 33 now and every mission in my mission log is now a group or dungeon quest. And that poses difficulties for me, because although I'm an awesome fighter once I'm in the fight, I don't like the awkwardness of finding a group who will take you or people who will join you. Yesterday I was at Stromgarde, and joined a group made up of level 38s. They basically told me I wasn't wanted because I was 'only' level 32, even though they didn't have a full team, and I had to join another group who were passing by. Elitist bitches!

The reason prices are so high in the auction house is because players aren't selling the items to newbies. They're selling over-powered rare low level items to folks who want to power level their lowbies. Those low-level blues are totally unneccesary, really

One of my best friends on SL has gone over to WOW, but it doesn't interest me... all that Questing and shit

I'll probably go back to playing GTA San Andreas someday. I haven't finished it yet.
