Beta Request + Writing Question
1. Anybody wanna beta ~5k of Derek/Stiles wrist bondage? (Written in response to lolafeist's prompt: "Stiles secretly wonders what it feels like to be chained up the way the wolves are on the full moon...he accidentally fastens himself to something...Derek discovers him.") It was gonna be one little porny scene, damnit, and now it is a big porny scene full of feels. I'd especially like someone to take a look at my Derek characterization and perhaps beat it like a rug. *beams hopefully at everyone*
2. I feel like I'm stuck in a rut of about three different sentence constructions, and I'm having difficulty getting out of it. I have a strong attachment to compound sentences, and (oh god, I'm doing it right now) I get stuck on "and" and "because." Any suggestions? Does anyone have tricks that you use to get yourself out of such patterns? My current plan is to search-and-find all the "and"s in the fic and change maybe a quarter of them.
