It's done...
As you may or may not remember, last time I posted on here I was considering resigning from my job. I decided in the end to hold off handing in my notice till I had calmed down a little, as I didn't want to do something I was going to regret later while I had a head full of steam. After careful consideration and discussion with family and friends however, I decided it was indeed what I needed to do. Thusly I handed my notice in to my boss this morning first thing.
For those of you in Australia, I have some good news to give now. I'm coming home. Not permanently... well not yet at least... but i'm coming home for the month of may (So Sue-San, you better send me that wedding invite) to help me decide where I want to be in the coming months and years. Things haven't gone exactly as I planned over here in england, and i'm missing so many people and places, that I feel really need to go back at least for a while. My parents are paying for the ticket fortunately, and I should (I hope) have enough money saved up to cover my rent and bills while i'm gone. As to what i'm going to do when I get back to sunny england, well I haven't decided yet... I guess i'll just have to wait and see how I feel at the end of may.
