Hurrah
Just a quick note to say I'm here in Perth and it's all good. I finally got to use the internet at Philippa's place. I live in Viveash which is out in the bush about 5 minutes from Midland - it's about a 15 min bike ride to the Opera Studio which is cool. My flatmate, divamelisande is very cool and she's been showing me around and helping me get sorted.
I am pretty excited actually - it's going to be a good year. The house is nice - reasonably new with polished wooden floors, nice kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning. Sweet as. We'll get internet access there sooner or later. I start at the studio tomorrow - I'm a little restless at the moment, reading lots of books and magazines etc. I cried when I had to say goodbye to Mattster, Jo, Ben and Maxie at the airport, but once I got on the plane I was fine. I get to see my sister in a fortnight, and Mattster in about 10 weeks. The year is going to pass fairly quickly, I imagine.
