Last weekend - in the flesh
I spent last weekend at a small BDSM convention in my home state. There's a big one in my current location this week, but I've always liked closure, and I blew off going to the small one two years ago, which is the last time it was held.
I had a wonderful time with my pet. I've been dissatisfied recently; he's working a regular schedule that is incompatible with mine, and while he will chat for hours given the opportunity, he usually needs to be nudged about other modes of contact. Repeatedly.
I hate nudging. I should not have to repeatedly ask for what I need. And regular contact is apparently part of what I need. Somewhere out there is a pet who starts every morning kneeling for 30 seconds, because I told him to. Somewhere out there is a pet who doesn't masturbate unless he gets explicit permission to do so. But that isn't enough unless I hear from him regularly. Is he hurt? Is he well?
The weekend was very good. Unfortunately, I was sick for much of it, so I couldn't do some of the things with/to pet that I wanted to. I did not get many photos, as they're banned at most parties. Which is a shame; I do enjoy taking photos of pet being embarrassed or in pain. Pet was very solicitous; he spoils me and I love it. He was hard much of the weekend, which was delightful. The workshops were nice but really weren't a highlight; that might be different at a larger convention. But it was nice to be surrounded by friends. Which is probably a good thing, though I have no equipment.
I introduced pet to some new toys I'd bought him; he was fundamentally unimpressed by the Aneros, which is a pity. In the same spirit I bring to fan conventions, I purchased a couple of items at the "please help us pay for the rest of the con" auction, some of which are nice but I don't know if I'll use them much.
