So I arrived here in St Albans on Monday, yaaay. My mom came with me (a luggage thing, grmbl! too much luggage!), and I brought her back to the airport today. So now I am here chilling out while my roomie is at work. Had to make some poo calls (formalities) but am settling in quite nicely! Although I think that's because I don't have to work yet ;)
Saw Rilo Kiley here Monday evening, that was pretty amazing! The venue was small and cosy, the sound was good & the view was excellent 'cause we stood at the front of the balcony. I got the new CD at their gig as well, it's very different from their older stuff but cool, either way -- they played lots of it live and it rocked! Great vibe :D Go listen on their MS:
