powerfulpinky made about shooting Abraham Lincoln for UF's newspaper, he mentioned the following:
People seem to flock around photographers.
I hadn't really thought about it before, but this certainly seems to be true. If a photographer is seen to be interested in something, other people get interested in it, resulting in a positive feedback effect. I wonder why this isn't exploited more by advertisers, protestors, and other people seeking attention.
