social software and computer vision

I wonder if there are any interesting ways to somehow combine social software (blogs, wikis, social tagging like del.icio.us and flickr, etc) and computer vision. For that matter, I wonder if there's any way to add AI/agent stuff into the mix, besides the obvious, like Latent semantic analysis or Dirichlet goodness.

The only things I can think of right now is to use flickr tags as a vast source of tagged image data, or extraction of latent relationships between tags. There must be something more creative one could do, though.

In general, social software is all about using computer networks to help people collaborate with other people. I wonder if there are any feasible ways to make use of social software so that people aren't only collaborating and creating through the software, but the software itself ends up being a more active participant.

Ok, it's a Friday night, I shouldn't be in lab.
