Author's Notes: Just a little something I thought up late at night. I can't sleep, either! ;)
Rev tossed and turned in the large white bed, sweating, feverish, haunted. In her dream, she was being suffocated by roses, with syringes instead of thorns. The creeper vines wrapped around her neck, choking and cutting deep into the skin. She tried to scream but couldn't.
Then, a woman came and ripped the vines away. She held Rev's face in her hands and wiped away the blood and tears. Rev knew that together they would escape this darkness.
Her eyes opened. Charm sat at her bedside, eyes compassionate, knowing. "It is time," she whispered. They had awakened, now reborn anew.
