Update
Bryan's mom is finally out of surgery and in recovery, but not awake yet. She lost a unit of blood, but they won't transfuse her because last time they did, they compromised her standing on the transplant list because of her antibody count due to foreign blood. They don't want to make it worse.
so, basically, they knicked an artery wall putting some sort of catheter in last week and the artery burst today. Last time she had any significant blood loss, it took her over 6 months to recover. I'm glad they'll let her replenish on her own, but damn, this will be a long recovery for her. We were hopeful they could come out in August after the baby is born, but we'll see now that this has happened.
