I still haven't watched all of last week's SPN...  I caught little bits and pieces and wow, I don't even have a desire to watch it.  Or this week's episode.  I'm pretty unspoiled except for the trailer, but that's enough to make me consider waiting until fourth season to catch this episode.  Except that the details will be all over online.  ( Read more... )

I'm actually in the same boat. Haven't watched either ep, and I probably won't until Season 4 starts. Course, I didn't watch the S1 finale until an hour before IMToD aired. It's kinda my finale tradition. And I'm vaguely annoyed at canon SPN right now. Iron Man and the Avengers, however, have eaten my brain.

That's a good tradition. I often wish I had the will power. And I totally agree about the annoyance at current canon. The last few episodes have been full of plot holes and just...frustrating.

Iron Man, huh? It's on my list of things to see. I've heard it's good, and I guess I'll take this as a recommendation. ;-)

Sometimes my will power is tested.

Iron Man is awesome. I think I've seen it 4 times now? The cut scene at the end is especially entertaining. I saw it, and now I'm slogging through 40 years of back cannon. :)

4 times?? Wow. By cut scene you mean one of those where I have to sit through the credits? Good to know. 40 years of back canon sounds a bit too daunting to me. More power to you. ;-)

It's not that daunting when you have people helpfully guiding you through the more traumatizing parts of late 80s/early 90s Marvel insanity. Also, the last two weeks have been kinda horrible so any excuse to get out of the house and make my mind focus on something else...well, really, I saw Sahara 6 times while I was angsting my way through grad school applications and this year has been even more tense.
