But aside from the goriness, this was very cool. You've got such a clarity to your writing that doesn't require being verbose.
I especially enjoyed the switching back and forth (in time, or consciousness I'm not sure). Though I don't necessarily understand the back story (not being a SPN person), I could still appreciate the depth of pain and feeling here. I really enjoyed this bit:
"He rubs his eyes with the back of his wrist, his hands feels like he must have slept on it, trapped against the window and his skull."
and the parallel it draws to the previous section. It really keeps you wondering what's real and what's not. Very cool.

There's this moment, when memories (I guess) and present mix together and it becomes hard saying which is which. And then you drop the little bomb:
“The whole world, Dean. And you chose me.”
