Okay you officially need to stop watching gory movies...yikes! And I'm locking my door at night...
But aside from the goriness, this was very cool. You've got such a clarity to your writing that doesn't require being verbose.
I especially enjoyed the switching back and forth (in time, or consciousness I'm not sure). Though I don't necessarily understand the back story (not being a SPN person), I could still appreciate the depth of pain and feeling here. I really enjoyed this bit:

"He rubs his eyes with the back of his wrist, his hands feels like he must have slept on it, trapped against the window and his skull."

and the parallel it draws to the previous section. It really keeps you wondering what's real and what's not. Very cool.

I spent a goodly amount of my childhood learning to pick locks. Just so you know.

This is stunning, wonderful job. Your imagery is powerful, and I like the little details you dropped here and there that made what was happeing more real than a full description.
There's this moment, when memories (I guess) and present mix together and it becomes hard saying which is which. And then you drop the little bomb:
“The whole world, Dean. And you chose me.”
*flails*
Great story.

Thanks so much. I had fun putting the pieces together. I think it almost turned out more like poetry than a story, which would be fitting for poetry month...there should have been a poetry-a-thon for fandom...is there such a thing?

Ahh, thank you! And thank you for pointing this one out to me--I had really forgotten about it, but now something there has me itching to write again... *wanders off to ponder*
