Okay, so I'm going through some course listings for my uni, and randomly followed a link from one of my profs-to-be to the other faculty she works at, which also happens to be one of my bffs' faculty.
So, check it out -- there's a prof there whose name is .... Edward Jones-Imhotep.
HOLY CRAP I fell off my chair totally lmfao.

Its TRUE! And his uni contact email is even " imhotep@___.ca". Serious s***, folks. Ohmygawd.
And look at his WHOLE name: Edward Jones-Imhotep. That's kind of like, Edward Jones...... Imhotep. An afterthought. Like, here's Edward, Jones, ....and Imhotep over there in the corner, looking all scary and mummy-ish. Normal, normal, SCARYBLEARGH.
JEEZ, this is weird! *giggles*
Now, of course, I have visions of this dude who lives in a large house with an oddly-large Ancient Egyptian collection.... and who no doubt sleeps in some kidn of dark coffin-thing with heiroglyphs decorating the outside and strange claw-like marks on the inside...okay I'll stop now.
Just had to get that off my chest, it was just too darned WEIRD.

Currently, his work explores the complex interactions between the reliability of electronics and the trustworthiness of humans during the early Cold War. To which I'm still like O_O;;;)
