All Hail [finally!] Queen Hatshepsut
I've gone through various academic-based obsessions during my youth, including the Blue Whale, dinosaurs, and.....I remember being SO obsessed with Egypt. Some of all that fervour remains still today.

I'm so thrilled; this morning I caught the headlines that they'd finallyfinallyfinally absolutely scientifically identified -- using DNA! -- that famous 'unknown' mummy as Queen Hatshepsut, the only true female pharaoh in ancient Egypt's history.
