As twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen charmed America from infancy through their double-trouble teen years, a third sister kept quiet in the background, honing her own fine talents. And now that the former child star twins have largely eschewed show business, settling instead into the world of fashion, that younger sister, Elizabeth, has emerged from the world of indie films to take the spotlight.
Turns out, she may be the best actress in the family.
Having starred in two
well-regarded films at Sundance, Olsen will see one of them, "Martha Marcy May marlene," open nationally. In the film, Olsen plays the escapee of a cult who can't quite break away from the spell its leader's charm has put her under. She co-stars with the always creepy John Hawkes, who scored an Oscar nomination last year for "Winter's Bone."
Following this film, she'll star in "Peace, Love & Understanding," with Chace Crawford and play a smaller part in "Red Lights," which stars Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver.

the trailer included is incredible. she doesn't look or sound a damn thing like her "older" sisters (she looks more mature than they do omg) - and her acting talent is extremely high. then again, i don't think the olsen twins ever made real movies, just gimmicky ones based on their Fullhouse/Twins fame.
