…i’ve been reading up on the mason family murders - purely by accident, i’d started off checking out roman polanski’s filmography, then bio, the found out his pregnant wife and four others were the hollywood murder victims of charles manson and his “family”/commune, and that if candace bergan (who i remember and adore as murphy brown) and her bf at the time had still lived in their old house, they’d’ve been the victims - well. circuitous. but the point is…
…i understand that charles manson has become this cult icon related to pop culture from the 60s onwards - but come on people! he brainwashed sick/stupid losers and then MURDERED innocent lives! i’m baffled, just baffled, how people can think of him and anything else other than an aberration, a disgusting murderer and one of the most evil people in history.
