Recipes for Wednesday night are finalized, my grocery list has been compiled, and I am in dire need of finding some tools for the kitchen that I currently lack. Here's to hoping that my mother will pull through, as always, and have what I need to use. I am both thrilled, and nervous, to be cooking recipes I've never tried before, especially being all thematic. I hope the wine lady is working at the LC again tomorrow evening, so that I can ask for some advise again. She was extremely helpful last time, and I made a good decision based on her suggestion.
I am in love with the food network. I enjoy learning how things get to my plate, like tomatoes and cherries. I also like watching Chef Ramsay yelling at people for having disgusting, disastrous kitchens.
Also, Yogi Tea is to die for. Everyone should try it. And I just realized that each individual tab on the tea bags have an interesting "food for thought" like phrase/quote. This evening's is: "It's not life that matters, it's the courage that we bring to it." Last night's was: "Experience is wisdom". I am saddened at the fact that I did not realize this with the first handful I've consumed. But, alas, I will save them from here on in, which means of the 16 bags I have in the box, 12 of them will be kept. <3
I had intentions to be in bed by 2am, but apparently have failed miserably. But, that being said, I will still be going to bed significantly earlier than I did last night, so it's a step in the right direction.
I watched a whole bunch of Weeds today (and by "whole bunch" I mean... 3 episodes....) I am determined to catch up on the show in time for the new season. Determined. With a capital D. Let's figure out the mathematics behind this:
Season 1 = 10 episodes (of which, I have watched half, so 5 down, 5 to go)
Season 2 = 12 episodes
Season 3 = 15 episodes
Season 4 = 13 episodes
Grand Total = 50 episodes - 5 watched = 45 to go
At 30min each (or 27/28min on average, but I'm rounding up for ease of convenience), that means I essentially have an entire day (22hr30min) of shows to watch. That doesn't sound all that bad, except for the fact that I just looked it up, and season 5 premieres on June 8th. That, now, provides a bit of a time crunch. I am still up for the challenge. In there, I will probably also be watching some Seinfeld, as that's at Matt's request.
Note to self: teach myself to knit again so I can start doing that during all this silly tv watching. Also, find cross-stitch pattern making program for my MacBook so I can resume my serial killer cross-stitch project. *glee*
And now, it's 3:30am, and I just had a very entertaining, albeit cute, yet brief, text message exchange with a certain fellow lj-er, and will be off to bed on that note.
And good ol' 90s playlist hit the nail on the head so perfectly. And I quote:
"It's 3am in the morning, and I'm hungry, so let's eat...."
This profile picture makes me smile every time I see it. Hahahaha. Oh that night at Z-trip was such a good night, and so much fun. <3
