0. (Completed Wednesday through Friday) Had two storm doors installed on front and back doors. Then learned how to lock the front one properly - it's complicated. At least the back one is normal. Can't wait to see how much this reduces the heating bill, but I'll probably have to since there isn't much winter left for us here.
1. Re-arranged furniture with Bev in four rooms: the den, the office, the guest bedroom, and the master bedroom.
2. Took delivery of a new bed for the master bedroom that triggered the need for rearrangement. The mattress is so much more comfortable than the old one, it's scary. Hooray for the Jamison Five Star!
3. Dropped off some old building materials and an old cabinet at the Seminole Landfill. Somehow managed to avoid paying a fee for bringing said 'building materials' to the dump because they all fit in the back of Bev's vehicle. Unable to avoid foul odors, but at least it was a cold dry day while we were there.
4. Dropped off an old TV, old bed frame, old TV cart, and other odds and ends at Goodwill. It's a shame I didn't do this last year, 'cause it looks like we owe additional money on taxes.
5. Brought the tax return up to a point where I could complete the sentence in Number Four.
6. Worked out with Bev, thus making our LA Fitness memberships slightly less of a waste of money.
7. Watched "Music and Lyrics" with Bev. 'Twas good and funny.
8. Relaxed after feeling like I really accomplished something worthwhile this weekend.
Still to do:
1. Go through old medical and educational receipts in the hopes that deductions found there might bring us down to zero additional dollars owed.
2. Help clean up the house some more for upcoming visitors (Mike, some of Bev's college friends with kids).
3. Legally dispose of the remaining paint cans from the Autumn 2005 Housepainting from Hell.
4. Try not to wake Bev up on my way out the door tomorrow, since she has President's Day off, and I don't.
5. Visit parents next weekend, with not-so-secret motive of retrieving an AeroBed for additional #2 guests. And see if there's any help still needed down in Lady Lake.
