With elemess on vacation in DC, we had another substitute host at Trivia tonight. How on earth does Team Trivia go about replacing a high school classmate?
Well, apparently they pick middle school classmates. Jason Bowen not only remembered me from one year together in 7th grade at Dodgen Psycho Ward, but remembered my face. If the guy weren't doing so well in sales for Team Trivia, he'd have a bright political feature based on that skill alone. Either that or he was tipped off. *poke elemess*
Anyway, with Jason "Froggie" Bowen running trivia, and asking four, count 'em, four Elvis questions, Twains Trivia became the King Frog Outlet Center for the night. (King Frog Outlets being the one with the ubiquitous billboards all over southern Georgia on I-75 until a few years ago. Even the outlets in Burlington NC have yet to catch up to the advertising this place used to have in the late 80s and early 90s, before outlet shopping became the sole reason for some people to take a vacation.)
We had no choice but to fold our final answer into an origami frog. Just couldn't help it.
Meanwhile, I'm behind in replying to other people's posts and their replies. I will catch up soon, I promise.
