Small Town Scandals, by Kay Lyons
The first book of the trilogy Small Town Scandals, by Kay Lyons, was free, then I bought the other two books. As Joe says, it worked. It took 5 days to read the entire trilogy.
The first two books take place in Taylorsville, in southern Ohio, and the third in South Ridge, Kentucky. It was fun to have the same cast of characters in the first two books. It wasn't until 53% through the third book when the connection to the first two books is revealed! There were some hints earlier (memory of someone named Joe).
