Only Murders in the Building, season 1
Joe and I were very excited to hear that ABC would be airing the first season of Only Murders in the Building, which we've wanted to watch for a while. We recorded all the episodes, and it went well until the season finale, when ABC kept interrupting for NH primary bulletins. And the episode was not going to be aired again. So we subscribed to Hulu, which we'd been thinking of doing anyway to watch the second and third seasons.
The show has great writing with surprising twists. The three leads are wonderful: Steve Martin (Charles-Haden Savage), Martin Short (Oliver Putnam) and Selena Gomez (Mabel Mora). And the guest stars are awesome.
How well do you know your neighbor? (# 3): Nathan Lane and Sting
The Sting (# 4): Tina Fey; bassoon and concertina duet
Twist (# 5): Oliver is very short on cash, yet owns an expensive car (Aphrodite), pays to park in the building and hasn't had a driver's license for 25 years.
Double Time (# 9): Jane Lynch
