You are my Muse

Nov 30, 2007 17:03

You are my muse.
You inspire flocks of feelings that dive and swoop like birds in an aerial ballet.
You are in the sunrise and the sunset and all the shades of cirrus blush between.
You are the moonlight to which I howl,
And I dare to keep what I wish upon a a passing shooting star,
For the heavens already know.

You are my muse.
Melodies play when you play in my mind.
Your hands move to the bowing of strings.
Your feet step with flutes and when you dance an orchestra plays.
You smile in crescendos,
And my heart cannot help but raise in octaves.

You are my muse.
Words are not cheap when they're brush strokes,
and pictures of you are timeless.
We may never be, still I fill my minds gallery.
You are my muse, and I'd rather dive and swoop
than be down to Earth's fleeting fantasy.
