wrap it up like a present

20 years. Seems like a really long period.

Well o well, 2010 has been really a good year for me I must say. As much as I can, I have been remembering the good memories! Who will exactly remember the bad ones though. 2010 was kinda like the turning point for me and memorable enough.

One of the highlight of the year was being involved as an event coordinator for Navy Open House in March. Such chances doesn't come by so easily. And am really thankful for it. Furthermore, it's a government project! Tough working with navy personnel with tight deadline and submissions to meet. Never ending late nights, real long and dry meetings which I could recall myself yawning away and amidst all those mundane work, the bunch of us also tried finding time out to make a trip down to JB to let our hairs down and of course, the sumptuous meals that we received during that period of time. Never easy to do planning work, but the feeling after seeing the end results are really indescribable. All the stress and cryings. Ask me if they're worth it? Definitely without a doubt. Proud, you can say it. All the hard work. It was really, truly an enjoyable and memorable experience. What's even better is seeing the Navy committee members appreciating all our efforts and are all satisfied with it. A job well done. Thinking back, I am missing those days. :)

Graduation in May with the fellows 07 batch of students. Feels like it just happened yesterday! Having to straighten out my thinking to set my goals right, to decide on whether to further pursue  a degree or to start working. It's really a tough decision to make. I can still vividly remember how I sat infront of my computer, not knowing which course to choose and cried the night before submitting the choice of courses when entering to poly. Well, that was years ago. It was really hard and reluctant to bid goodbye to poly lifestyle as it rocked my whole three years. I am sure that applies to most of us, right? Furthermore, the lectures, tutorials and free break times in between are all that we're gonna miss. Good O' times.

August, was the month when I stepped into another phase of life, to study in UNLV and got to know my lovely new classmates! 7 hectic weeks each term, made me always feel like quitting the school halfway through the term when we were too stressed up with the tight timeline. And not only me, Janice felt the same way too. After saying it for countless times, we've already completed our third term, starting the fourth in mid January. Soon, we'll be completing our first year, then to Las Vegas and to complete our degree following which. And then, end of the world comes.

Kay, that's pretty much the main happenings for the year.

And to my beloved family, boyfriend and friends. Don't worry, I won't leave you guys out. I know I have been kinda "gui-lan" sometimes with weird mood swings, keeping stuff to ownself and not sharing which I promised I would, etc. And even though we're all each busy with school/work and I seldom text/call yall, doesn't mean you are at the out/at the back of my mind. I still remember you! Please don't forget me, cause I won't. :)

I am home alone. And am going to spend my first minute of year 2011 alone. Ewek, Sylvester Sim on Channel 5 is trying so hard to imitate Adam Lambert. Epic fail. Disgusting much. BKK trip is confirmed, and we're left with Taiwan. Yay yay!

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!
May the year ahead be adventurous, filled with fun and excitement for all. :)

I believe the following days and months and years ahead are gonna be more meaningful and exciting. I am gonna embrace you! Watch it! :)
