As I am awake the news world sleeps.
Korean-made television blathers world news heard through iPod headphones (assembled in China) playing Japanese music with American lyrics, as I drink coffee made from beans from decidedly-not-the-U.S.
There are many stories that come across the AP wire here with Spanish headlines; I know enough Spanish to note the headlines in English don't match, and I wonder about the news disparity. Especially when it's things in the U.S. Why don't I have an English version?
Slow news day. Good for me.
But no news is good news for who knows how long.
I know no news is bad news for keeping a job.
(I don't take a 1-hour break, you see. I take many small ones.)
