d.c. aftermath
the trip to d.c. was awesome. i had chills during all the speakers and it was just an immense feeling of unity in the air the entire time. singing along to old anti-war songs like "down by the riverside" and "give peace a chance" just created a huge feeling of togetherness, like i just wanted to hug someone. its amazing that dissenting from the government can have that effect on you.
i do have around 100 decent pictures of the events, which i plan on posting sometime this week. resizing is a bitch.
the group we went with was also perfect. everyone was completely cool. i met a bunch of shannon's friends from tallahassee who i now consider to be friends of my own. i love tallahassee and FSU too. its up there on my future college choices. (future being either spring or fall of next year)
anyways, i wanna go to a movie today since i haven't been in like two months. does anyone feel like going?
