Gas Awe
i had an ultimate shock this morning drive to work. two of the cheapest gas stations that i pass on my way to and from work in new jersey is now 2.99/gallon for regular gas. the shock really is up tthat on monday (when i last filled my tank) it was 2.49/gallon and yesterday it was 2.69/gallon. yesterday there was a gas station that had not changed the gas price to 2.69 and it caused a minor traffic jam because everyone was trying to fill here. i thought that was amusing. and in new jersey, gas is much cheaper because they don't charge a lot of taxes on it, so i can't imagine what prices i will see when i get to staten island tonight.
